Approximately 10 to 12 workers and children plus Mike J., Steve and Paul from the s355 Committee turned up for the working bee. The names and contact details of the working bee participants who signed in will be added to the Committees mailing list. The works carried out includes the following:
The Royalla Common and Hall are our community facilities. Gardens are in the early stages of development and there are ongoing maintenance requirements for the Hall, the Elm Grove, the Gardens, the Hayshed, the Ruin and the open space.
Become part of the Friends and help in looking after the Common and enjoy meeting the neighbours.
Each Thursday starting 14 March 19 (0800 - 1200) Royalla residents, including retiries, are invited to attend Royalla Common to assist with these maintenance and development items.
Timing may change based on the desires of volunteers. Should you wish to volunteer, but you are not available on Thursdays, please contact Jim Orman on 0412 241 636 to discuss alternatives Volunteers may work independently. Please contact Jim for a list of current projects or to discuss alternate timing.
Friends of the Common, as Volunteers will be covered by Council insurance and will be subject to Council ethical standards.
