Royalla Calendar

Hosted by Project Wing, which is part of is part of X (an Alphabet company). We’re trying to build a drone delivery system that can transport goods in a way that is quicker, cheaper and more environmentally friendly than what’s possible on the ground today with cars and trucks. You may have heard about us in June when we completed a few weeks of drone delivery testing with residents in Fernleigh Park.

Over the next few months, we’ll be conducting more testing from our launch site at the Guises Creek Rural Fire Station. We’ll be working with the ACT Rural Fire Service to help them figure out how drone delivery might aid firefighting or other emergency services, as well as testing our drone delivery system with select households in Royalla.

We want to learn from our testers and the wider Royalla community about how they see drone delivery fitting into their daily lives. To introduce ourselves to the community and share more information about our testing, we’re hosting a community BBQ on Sunday 8 October from 11-2pm at the Royalla Commons (317 Royalla Drive) to chat with residents and answer any questions.
