Royalla Calendar

Clean Up Australia Day is Sunday, 5th March.  For our locality it is being jointly organised by Royalla Landcare and the Royalla Community Association.

The Royalla Common (317 Royalla Drive, Royalla) has been registered as the site for the coordination of the event, rubbish collection and sausage sizzle at the conclusion of the event. 

Go to http://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/Royalla+Clean+Up where you can register as a volunteer for the Royalla site.  Unfortunately the CUAD web site defaults the timing of the event and advises that the event commences at 9.30am and finishes at 11pm!!  Ours will be 09:00 to 11:00 am, to be followed by the sausage sizzle.

Please bring a hat, sunscreen and water to drink.  We do not expect donations - just a little of your time and effort will be welcome.

The Royalla Common will be the pickup point for rubbish that is collected, and where we will have the sausage sizzle. 

The areas for collection are:
Old Cooma Road from Monaro Hwy to Jerrabomberra Creek;
Royalla Drive, Monaro Hwy to Old Cooma Rd; and
Thoroughbred Drive for 2 km from the Old Cooma Road
